About Changchai
Changchai Co., Ltd. is a national industrial enterprise with more than 100 years of history and one of the earliest professional internal combustion engine manufacturers in China. Adopting three advanced technology routes approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection — high-pressure common rail, electronic unit pump and electronic VE pump — Changchai has successfully launched non-road China III and China IV electronic-controlled diesel engines and on-road China V diesel engines, forming a broad, multi-series, multi-model lineup.
Key Features
1. Simple single-cylinder structure: compared with multi-cylinder engines of equal displacement, the single-cylinder engine is lighter and more compact, which reduces overall set weight and improves portability and handling;
2. Low cost, easy maintenance and dependable starting performance, making it ideal for rural households, small workshops, lighting and light-duty equipment;
3. Fully compatible with the standard 400/230 V, 50 Hz grid in China;
4. On-vehicle operation: when the set is transported on a trailer or truck bed while the engine and generator are running, the rotating internal combustion engine and generator produce gyroscopic effects — secure mounting and careful handling are recommended.
