Series Overview
Cummins series generator sets use Dongfeng or Chongqing Cummins engines, offering high reliability, easy maintenance, long continuous running time and an extremely long service life. They are trusted by customers in ports, railways, mining and other industrial sectors. As the largest foreign investor in China's engine industry, Cummins operates Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (B, C and L series) and Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (M, N and K series), both manufacturing to Cummins' unified global quality standard. Engine Characteristics
1. Most models are equipped with Cummins' proprietary PT fuel system (except the B and C series);
2. Omega combustion chambers are used;
3. The cam followers are all of the roller type;
4. The majority of fuel and oil passages are drilled inside the cylinder block and cylinder head;
5. Wet-type cylinder liners with phosphate treatment;
6. The crankshaft is forged from alloy steel with induction-hardened journals.
