The BRTCE-RM550 is a 550mm wheeled remote control lawn mower that keeps the operator out of the cutting line. It is sold with two drive options - a 7.5HP Loncin gasoline engine or a battery-electric drive - on the same 98kg chassis, so one platform covers both fuel and zero-emission sites.
Series highlights
- Wheeled, self-propelled chassis with 550mm cutting width - nimble around trees, beds and narrow gates.
- Two drive options on one platform: 7.5HP Loncin gasoline (196CC) or battery-electric.
- Remote control range up to 500m - the operator stays clear of the blade and of the slope.
- Cutting height 30-70mm adjusted at the deck; 0-5km/h travel speed.
- Handles slopes rated up to 60% on firm ground, 98kg net weight for easy transport.

How to choose
- Flat garden, courtyard or orchard with trees to work around: the 550mm wheeled chassis turns tighter than a crawler.
- No fuel storage or indoor use: take the BRTCE-RM550-E electric variant; keep the -G gasoline version for long, uninterrupted shifts.
- Slopes above 60% or soft, wet ground: move up to the FB550 crawler instead.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between BRTCE-RM550-G and BRTCE-RM550-E?
The -G variant uses a 7.5HP Loncin 196CC gasoline engine; the -E variant uses a battery-electric drive. Chassis, 550mm cutting width, 98kg weight and 500m remote control are identical.
How steep a slope can the RM550 climb?
Up to 60% on firm ground. Wet grass or loose gravel reduces this - for those conditions use the tracked FB series.
Why is the remote range 500m here but 300m on the flail models?
The wheeled and flat blade platforms use a higher-power remote link; the flail series is rated at 300m. Always keep the machine in sight.
